GENERAL TERMS
1. All payments are made directly to the driver (unless an agreement has been concluded in writing) and are accepted in Cash, Debit Card, Multicaixa Express or Credit Card (by prior arrangement). Debit or credit card payments are subject to a card handling fee imposed by our individual driver card controllers. UGO drivers are always happy to stop at a convenient ATM to get cash to use and receipts are always available.
2. The company and its drivers cannot be held responsible for any real or consequential financial or professional loss, loss of travel connections (flights, trains, etc.) due to the late arrival or otherwise of any taxi.
3. The company cannot be held liable for consequential or actual losses arising from missed connections due to adverse weather conditions, prevailing traffic conditions or any other events that negatively influence travel times.
4. Licensed taxis are insured for passenger and third party claims in accordance with Angola Transport regulations, however customers' personal effects are carried out entirely at their own risk and the company will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage to said property.
5. The company and its drivers reserve the right to refuse to transport passengers who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs and who, in the driver's opinion, constitute a threat to himself or his vehicle.
6. All travel cost estimates (non-fixed/defined) are offered in good faith, neither the company nor member drivers can be held responsible for any variances from these good faith estimates.
7. It is the obligation of customers to actively seek out any taxi they book and to provide a work mobile or landline phone number. The company and member drivers will do everything possible to ensure that the taxi is waiting in a suitable place, for customers to find it and to help them at all times.
8. A credit/debit card deposit will be required on all high value bookings or multiple taxis and may or may not be refundable, subject to subsequent provisions contained in these Terms and Conditions.
9. All bookings accepted by the company will be bound by these terms and conditions and customers will be deemed to have read and understood when booking.
FIXED PRICE RESERVATIONS
The company works with taximeters.
1. Unless otherwise stated in writing by the customer and accepted by the company, all bookings are 1 pick up and 1 destination. Deviation from this arrangement will result in the tariff reverting to a metered tariff.
2. All these fares have a free waiting period of 10 minutes.
WEB / EMAIL RESERVATIONS
1. Web bookings are considered, in the first instance, as non-time critical and will be responded to within 2 minutes. All deposits refunded will be less applicable credit card fees.
2. Reservations canceled when the driver arrives at the pickup location will result in a cancellation of the 2000 KZ arrival fee None of the foregoing terms violates or affects your statutory rights. and hours instead of minutes.
